I write letters of support for all gender-affirming surgeries for people living in Washington state.
If you are over the age of 18 and in need of a letter from a Licensed Mental Health professional, I can generally complete a letter in one session. This can apply to folks under 18 as well, though there may be other parental and familial considerations to attend to. Ongoing therapy is not required.
The cost is $180 for the 55 minute session. I collect half of the fee when the appointment is scheduled and the other half after the session.
If your doctor is requiring a letter from a Licensed Mental Health Professional to begin Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), please note that informed consent is considered best practice and there are other physicians that will not require a letter. This rule also applies to some gender-affirming surgeries, however insurance companies generally require a letter from a Licensed Mental Health Professional for surgery to be covered.

I am unfortunately not able to write letters for people who live outside of Washington State. If you live outside of WA and are looking for a letter, you're welcome to send me an email and I can respond with some info and suggestions for finding a qualified therapist licensed in your state.
